Not as firm as the one I had previously owned, but covers the entire headboard of my Full size bed, both height and width. It is soft and lightweight. I love it! Be sure and read the description remarks and you will note that sometimes the buttons shift slightly exposing white thread. No problem, just push them back into alignment.

Looks really nice but description inaccurate- cover is not removable and washable unless you cut off the buttons. Would be difficult to reset them on and if cover faded, buttons might look a different shade. Would not have bought it if I knew I couldn’t wash it.
