So far so good. I purchased the resistor on January 5, 2025 and so far as of April 8, 2025 it has worked flawlessly with no issues. Great replacement. It was installed the same week as the purchase.

3rd fan speed of the 4 speeds was not working and this quick & simple repair has it working like new.Total repair time, including cleaning, less than 10 minutes.1) Remove 2 Philips screws from resister, (do not lose these 2 screws as new resistor does not come with screws) remove resistor and remove wiring connector from the resister.2) Clean wiring connector with spray electronic cleaner and blow dry with compressor or canned air.3) Coat wiring connector terminals and resistor blade terminals with Dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion.4) Reconnect wiring connector to new resister and install with the 2 SAVED Phillips screws.UPDATE:Lasted 11 months and about 2500 miles.

the old unit was bad, took out 2 screws ,swapped wires and put in two screws. the way it fits you can't do it wrong. 10 minutes and it was done. fit perfect.

Though this usually fixes the problem with the fan not blowing, in my case that wasn't the problem, so I'm still searching for another solution and I already know what it is.

Tried to save some money and bought two of these as they are relatively inexpensive compared to the OEM. Install was easy and quick as it is only 2 screws and an electrical plug. 5 stars there as it did match perfectly to the OEM style mount. However both of the resistors I bought burned up, the first lasted about a week and a half, the second only lasted 3 days.ran some electrical tests and the rest of the system has no existing issues that would have caused it to malfunction, so the only thing I can state at this point is that it was a faulty resistor each time.either way You get what you pay for in this case.
