2008 4runner SR5 single climate control. Working good so far for a month. Remove the fan and drill a hole in the air box to get to the one screw easier, then duct tape the hole.

A bit of a challenge to install (swap with oem) but totally doable. The part works as it should…& is a fraction of the OEM part.

This is tricky to get to when installing, but it's manageable with the right tools. The old actuator started intermittently failing, randomly emitting a buzzing noise. This replacement part fixed that. Buzzing is gone and the air unit is behaving normally again.
