***See edit at bottom***This isn't exactly the most pristine machine work I've ever seen (see closeups of nozzle and a piece of plastic (maybe?) inside the feeder part. But I think this would make a fine primer gun, or maybe even a basecoat gun.It has a built-in regulator (without a pressure read out), control over the fan shape and control over the amount of paint to come through (near the inlet, on the side, and in the back, respectively). The fan is nice and wide, but not as wide as you would see on a more high-dollar HVLP gun. The fan looks to be relatively evenly distributed and I didn't see any extra build up at the top or bottom - nice and even. Impressive for a gun at this price point. The brand name is just hilarious. I would pay a little more for a case to go with this gun. It simply comes in a box wrapped up in a cheap piece of fabric. This is a straight-up gravity-fed gun (no vacuum feed or anything like that without an adapter and a vacuum cup system, of course). Oh, and of course you can also control the shape of the fan by unscrewing the collar around the nozzle and rotating it to go between a horizontal and a vertical fan (or anything in between). You can get a round spray pattern using the control knob on the side.***EDIT 9/23/24***The threads stripped out at the feeder. I wanted to convert it to a vacuum system, but the adapter I got was female and I needed it to be male, so I bought a coupler and, at first, it fit fine, but then, when I wrapped it with sealing tape and tightened it back on, the threads stripped on the paint gun side. I don't have a tap large enough to tap it back out and buying one would amount to about 1/3 the price of the gun itself, so I think this one is now a lost cause. Shame.

Very nicely built sprayer. The tools included are also well built and one of the better kits compared to others I have seen.
