It fits good in an A2 upper. What would make it even better would be a plastic disc insert in the nut. This would reduce any marring of the finish underneath the carry handle hole. I chose to use a faucet washer to make sure it locks up tight and stays that way.

It works. It's aluminum but feels like a fairly low grade. It does sit in the carry handle correctlyand is level. The mounting screws are cheap. The main attachment screw isn't bad but you will want to use locktite and not over tighten or you could easily strip it. I do like that it sits in such a way that you still have access to your iron sights. It's cheap price wise so you can't really expect more from it in my opinion. Could give it a higher score if the aluminum grade and mounting hardware were a little higher quality. I has stayed on and zeroed but Locktite is a must.

Fit right where it needed to and still allows comfort with a red dot. Also allows the ability to still use iron sights if you so choose.

Tried this carry handle scope mount in three different AR-15's. It did not properly fit in any of them. It is a very loose fit and even when tightened down extremely tight. Just barely bump the scope and it is out of alignment. This is a waste of your money. The one I currently have fits perfectly and once tightened will not move. The search goes on to find the same model I currently have.
