I was helping a brother-in-law paint his house and brought my own paint scraper (the small metal palm sized one) and after a numerous large grid windows, I could feel it in my thumbs from pressing down. He let me borrow his Hyde scaper and I could feel the difference not only in the ergonomics with the larger handle but the ease of the 4 inch blade vs the one inch. That night I ordered my own (as well as a set of spare blades) and 56 windows later still feel the love for this tool. Haven't scrapped wall paper yet but as a window scarper it is the bee's knees. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable grip. Great for scraping paint. Need to hold it at proper angle to avoid gouging wallboard.

I tried doing everything I could to get this to shave old bathroom wall paper off but it would always gouge the drywall. I went back to my little razor scraper, which works it just takes longer.

My girlfriend and I strip alot of wallpaper and have used these "scrappers" for years. When we needed to replace our old ones and finish the job we were on, we could no longer find them in the local stores. We jumped on Amazon and ordered them immediately. They arrived within days and we were able to finish are job with ease. My only issue with these scrappers is the blade becomes lose over time and can fall out when being used. But...We have never found anything that works as good.
