How does it work?
- Fill reservoir with warm water and drop one Cleanhike tablet
- In a separate bowl, dissolve 1-2 tablets and submerge hydration pack parts and accessories
- Let it sit for 15-30 minutes. The solution will produce a gentle fizz to clean

I haven't had any problems since we started using these tablets to clean the Ice Machine and my thermal cups too, especially the lids of the cups.I totally use only distilled water for the making of the ice and for cleaning & rinsing the icemaker when the cleaning light comes on. When we were just using the filtering pitcher to make ice when we first got the machine, there was Algae starting in the water reservoir. As soon as I began the distilled water, and the CleanHike Tablets the Algae stopped. I use between 4-6 tablets a cleaning session.If your countertop icemaker has a cleaning light that comes on do not put off cleaning it. When you clean it as often as it asks to be cleaned it works better and makes less noise, plus no Algae.

I used these on a well loved brand name (think large bird) bladder and they cleaned it ALMOST like new… I was impressed.

I accidentally left one in longer than the specified 15 minutes. Rinsed bladder out thoroughly about 5 times, even leaving clean water in and leaving over night and then rinsing one additional time in the morning. One more fill up and water had a chemical taste to it. I sipped sparingly and maybe only drank about 8 ounces of water during my exercise session. Throat was burning by the time I got home. Chugged water and still have a burned feeling spot on my soft pallet. Still chugging water 12 hours after drinking from my camel bak. Not sure if I’m just sensitive to these for some reason or what. Tried to find the chemical compound listed somewhere and couldn’t find it, no ingredients anywhere. Says it’s been through safety tests but no specific testing bodies are mentioned anywhere. I don’t feel confident or safe using this product any more, will be switching to an alternative product.

I still not sure if they are effective or clean but they cannot remove stains like OJ in the bottle. the color is blue and it has some fizz. when you are not sure add baking soda then shake it to bake it.

Actually saves you money!!! You’re drinking fresh, cold water from a clean stainless steel container without wasting money on bottled water - filling our landfills with disposable plastic. Cleaning my hydro bottle is now a snap!! Brilliant concept. 👍👍
