I have a 1-ton mini-excavator, daily operations often run into irregular materials, before the efficiency is extremely low. But with this machine, it can accurately grab all kinds of odd shaped things, and the efficiency is much higher than before.It's perfect for my small excavator. The 2 hoses and screws that came with it were of good quality and following the instructions, it went on in no time. When in use, the thumb clamps are very flexible in opening and closing and they are very stable in grabbing those strange shaped rocks and logs and the previous problem of slipping off no longer occurs And the material is strong, used for some days, through the high-intensity operation, still intact. There are a lot of rocks and lumber to move on the construction site, and it's inefficient and always a problem with a regular excavator. After agonizing for a long time, I ordered this excavator hydraulic thumb clamp from Amazon.At first the installation, I was worried that it would be a lot of trouble, I did not expect the included installation instructions are detailed and clear, and with the help of my coworkers, it was quickly installed. When I tried it, the effect was amazing! Clamping stones easily and firmly, before two or three people to move the big stone, now the excavator a clamp on the rise. I a demolition project a while back that required moving a lot of concrete blocks and scrap lumber and the original excavator was working very inefficiently. I bought this excavator hydraulic thumb clamp to give it a try.The installation process went smoothly, it's well designed and fits my excavator superbly. It works like a charm! It holds concrete blocks securely, which used to take a lot of effort to shovel up and move, but now it's easy to do with a single clamp. The timber can be handled with precision, and you no longer need to worry about the timber slipping off. Moreover, it is flexible in operation, and can easily cope with the needs of various angles of grasping, which greatly improves the work efficiency.This period of time to use down, really feel it for the project to promote a great help, reliable quality, strong and durable. It is definitely my right-hand man!

Not great thumb had to modify to get to fit it's also about 7 inches to small the bucket and thumb don't meet

Product seems well made and installation complete in 15 minutes. Heavy duty hoses included with no problems mating to the existing ports without adapters, although two adapters were supplied. The supplied hoses could be a foot shorter for my installation but suffice. Only a couple issues encountered, one being that there is only a single needle type grease fitting on one end of the hydraulic cylinder. The second issue was the supplied bolts far too tight and a little too long. Both requiring driving in with a a rubber mallet. They will need to be ground down a bit plus drilled and tapped for a grease fitting otherwise not

works well, didn't have a grease fitting on the cylinder, fixed that. I think that this is a mandatory upgrade to a mini excavator. easy to install on mine
