Bought this to be used with the airscape lid also sold on Amazon. I weighted it down with a brick inside and put a bag in it. Also added a deodorizer even though bags are scented . I watch dogs so I collect a lot of poop!! Works perfectly!!

I bought it because it's black. Most buckets on construction sites are commonly white, orange or blue, so it definitely stands out. Put a bunch of stickers on it and it is easily identifiable. Nice and sturdy and it fits some of my lesser used tools. Bought a lid with a built in cushion for it and it does the job.

The type of plastic used for this bucket is food grade and safe for use in DWC systems. Fits the style netpod lids I prefer to use (Check out my profile on that) and over all a durable 5gal bucket. A little pricey for a bucket tho.I say......Grow Tent APPROVED!!!

This bucket with the sealed lid is amazing. I use it for my dog's dog food so little critters can't get in a multiply. You could use it for food or anything where you want to keep it safe. I've never had liquid in it, but I bet it wouldn't leak.

It's black and it's a bucket. As advertised. Bought it with a Black Gamma Seal Lid to heat water for an off-grid shower. Certainly warms the water up but it doesn't get hot like a solar shower bag, but that's not the bucket's fault

I purchased the 5 gallon bucket, for my first attempt at creating a hydroponic veggie garden. These buckets are well made and food safe making them ideal for building a hydroponic system. I wish the bucket came with the lid, but I am still very happy with the bucket. The buckets weigh a little more than a pound and half. I have been very happy with my purchase, especially because finding food safe buckets is very hard to do at lows, home depot or Wal-Mart. The bucket is a little overpriced, but when you cant find it in a local store, the internet becomes the best option. It is a black bucket, that is well made. It does not do any crazy tricks, but it can hold liquid and other items, you can put a lid on the bucket and invert the bucket and it will still hold your liquids and other items.

I own a wheeled air conditioner that drips a ton of water from a tube which unfortunately cannot be emptied by window. Smaller buckets would get full in a hour, and during the hot summer months, who wants to get up every hour to empty a bucket? In the meantime your A/C has to be off, or else it'll get water on the floor. This is perfect for holding a ton of water. I only had to empty it every few days, and when you have a busy job the little things that save chores can be so nice.

I feel the bucket has been very sturdy thus far. I have been using a lot of hot water to get my clothes clean. I was denied unemployment benefits due to educational wages and being reasonably assured to start work in the Paradise Valley School District for the 2015 - 2016 school district. So I will need to wait to buy the super washing detergent.

There is not much to say about this product except that it is priced the same as other 5 gallon buckets you would get at the hardware store. Only those buckets are often white and allow light leak, this bucket is jet black and completely opaque so it will not allow light through.
