Tower is sturdy enough. Not sure how well it works, after germinating seeds and putting them in the pods the pump died within 30 days. Should be easy enough to replace but should have read the latest reviews first. Seems this is a common problem with this item. Would not recommend buying.

No instruction manual was provided with the kit. It's not clear how to plant seeds. There's no information about adding plant food or nutrients. The company does not have an online instruction manual. So far after more than a month I've been unable to use the product.

I love it. The sponges are terrible but I didn't buy it for that. I'd recommend buying Rockwall to start your seeds. Huge difference. The actual tower is great. Holes are a bit small but it is exactly what it is says it is.

I love my tower. I bought it in December and started it in January. We have had several batches of lettuce and spinach. I added tomatoes and cucumbers about a month ago. The tomato plants are 30 inches tall and blossoming and I currently have several 2-3 inch cucumbers. I would not recommend root veggies though. I planted radishes and had a very difficult time removing them. I did buy a free standing grow light and have it in a large window. It went beyond my expectations.

It seems to be working okay. I did have to tape the top in place as it did not have a way to stay in place. If they have a better top to send me, it would be nice.

This is really nice for smaller plants like leaf lettuce and greens. If your wondering what the hole in the tip is for, no water gets in that hole slot. So use it as a light mount if you have the correct light with removable stand. This is what I did, I just used a rubber fitting to make it tighter so it would stay straight in the hole. The light I use has 5 arms that can be set for 12 hours.
