So far so good. When registering for the 10 yr warranty I couldn't find my specific item on the registration form. I reached out to the company & to my happy supprise I received an in person, friendly & helpful in country response in less than 12 hours.Regarding the hose itself, it's only been used 5 times so far and it's worked fine. It seems to be made much stronger than previous expandable hoses used, and so is the hose harware. This hose was chosen after reading other reviews and smome research. It seems that the manufacturer of HydroTech hoses has very good customer/product service, but that REGISTERING THE PRODUCT IS A MUST in the event that the hose fails in some way. From having previous expandable hoses, following instructions & keeping the hose out of the elements (sun, heat, cold,) is key to making sure it stays in good working order. In that sense it is a bit of a pain, but it's not like it's bulky and awkward like regular hoses. HydroTech uses bright colors to ID hoses by size, which is fine by me, but some people have mentioned that it might be nice if the hoses also had the standard green color as an option.

I love the quality. The nozzle is some serious quality. shrinks down real small. And I like the colorful color! Would definitely recommend. I wish they had a nozzle that was optional add on.

I really like this hose. It is really easy to extend and then coil again when I'm done. I keep my hoses in pots. When I turn on the water, the hose expands totally filling the pot. It looks like it is totally tangled, but it's not. It pulls out pretty easily. However. I always pull out the dry hose before I charge it.....just to be sure.I can't speak to longevity, but I'm hopeful.

Pine needles in the yard pictured this hose in many places. Doesn’t maintain any kind of pressure well. Pressure was iffy even pre-puncture. I do still use this hose tho. Even leaking and having to stop and let pressure build often, like every 30 seconds, pressure-release-pressure-release… I still use it because I can carry it easily across the yard and up the hill to the irrigation spigot. The weight is heaven sent!! It has a few punctures but the needles did not gouge it & pressure does build when I close the release. It functions. Not perfectly but my old heavy hose I will not do again. I might try a different type of expanding hose this season if I can find one on sale. But last season I used this and it worked fine. Storage is a breeze too. I toss it in a protective shoulder bad and that bag hangs in the garage. It does tangle but it only happened once or twice which is good because when not filled it is basically a rope.

Beware! Broke the FIRST time we used it. The valve was opening and closing and something rubber internally burst. Leaks from behind the valve. Does not work. Seller unresponsive.
