I like that the Hydrowave fits perfectly inside of the bracket and doesnโt get jostled around.

When I had my unit on the front trolling motor I was having issues with the the plug. it wasn't a clean install. So I decided to move it to the back. Bracket is real rugged. Ran my wires to the back and I am running it from the console. Fit great looks good. Still catching fish. Often when others aren't catching.

This isn't a review of the hydrowave, just this transom bracket. It could definitely use some improvement in design. The curvature built into the speaker slots for trolling motor use make it fight against the bracket to use the provided mounting zipties. Once I did get the first strap though it broke at the collar anyhow. I wasn't too keen on the zipties to begin with. Changed it to a $3 hose clamp and should work fine, but if I had looked at some of the forums beforehand I would have seen that others have had similar issues and just made their own brackets. Wouldn't waste $20 on a poor design again.
