What to do if the APP can't find the light when connecting the light with the TUYA APP for the first time?
- When using the TUYA APP to connect the light for the first time, if the light cannot be found, it may be because the permission of the "Nearby Devices" is not turned on.
- After clicking "Add Device", Please allow "Nearby Devices" permission and then reset the light (plug and unplug the light three times) to see if the TUYA APP can find the light.
After plugging and unplugging the power supply for 3 times, it may take a few seconds for the light to flicker or not flicker, but by this time the light can be found by TUYA APP.

It doesn't come with a remote as depicted on the picture. However you can use your cell phone.It's complicated. If being used as an aquarium light, the levels have to be turned down or it will grow algae!

Holy crap. What a difference a light can make. It's vibrant, it's simple, it's the best money I've spent on an aquarium light ever. If you're unsure if about buying this light, don't be... it's seriously the best light I've owned.

I’ve been using this light for about a year and a half now, and overall, it’s been great. It’s currently set up on my 90-gallon planted aquarium. While it gets the job done, I’m planning to order a second one to get better coverage from front to back.The app isn’t as tricky as some reviews make it sound, but I do have one minor complaint. When using the 24-hour timer, I’m stuck with the pre-set lighting scenes: Fishlight, Moonlight, Sunlight, and Ocean Blue. I can’t fully customize the lighting in this mode, which is a bummer. For example, the Sunlight setting is a little too yellow for me, and the Fishlight setting is too orange.The timer splits the day into eight blocks of time. For my setup, I use one block for an 8-hour photo period (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM) on the Sunlight scene at 70% brightness. It’s not perfect, but it works. Outside the timer mode, I have full control over the RGB lighting, brightness (0–100%), and color temperature (3000K–6700K), which is awesome! The downside is that I’d have to turn the light on and off manually, so I’ve settled for the Sunlight scene in the 24-hour timer for now.The Sunrise/Sunset feature is really neat. It gradually brightens to mimic sunrise and then dims down to Moonlight in the evening. You can adjust how long the sunrise/sunset and Moonlight phases last, but I prefer keeping “full sun” all day for better plant growth.There are also two custom scenes where I can set my own RGB, brightness, and color temperature, which is fantastic—except I can’t use them with the timer. That’s a bit disappointing since it would make things so much easier.Overall, I'm pleased with what this light does for the price, but I would like to see more user control in future updates.

When it works this light is great. The problem is you need the app to set the light and the app refuses to work. I have to start-close-restart the app numerous times because it keeps sayin the light is offline. Mesh Wi-Fi networks have been commonplace for years now and developing devices and app which don’t work with them is inexcusable.Update: 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty period expired my light stopped working entirely.

Build quality is reasonable, and though these are not premium high PAR full spectrum lamps they would have sufficed if it weren't for the fact that the Bluetooth connectivity was a complete fail. They would work once, then not again till manually power cycled.As such they are unusable for my purposes. Perhaps there will be some improvement, but until then if you're looking for budget lamps, I would forego the Bluetooth and save money.
