5 stars—with a few small caveats.I just installed this, so I can't speak to its performance after six months or a year, but so far, I'm very happy with it. Yes, it drains a bit slower than the standard sink stopper because it doesn’t pop up quite as high. And yes, it does leave a small amount of water in the sink—but honestly, so does a regular drain plug, just slightly less.The major win here is the installation: it’s incredibly simple. You just drop it into the drain hole and press the button—done. No tools, no fuss. Best of all, you can finally ditch that annoying lever under the sink (which, frankly, I have no interest in crawling under anymore!). This design solves that problem beautifully.It looks great too—I got the brushed nickel to match my faucet, and it blends in perfectly. It even catches debris and long hair (guilty!), helping to prevent clogs. The only plastic components are the interchangeable gaskets it comes with, which are there to fit various drain sizes. Fingers crossed for long-term durability, but for now, I’m impressed.

I wholeheartedly agree that this design represents the future standard for all households. The previous model allowed hair and debris to flow freely down the drain, creating persistent maintenance issues over the years. This updated version is a game-changer—I appreciate its ability to catch hair efficiently, making it easy to identify when cleaning is needed, as evidenced by slower drainage. Additionally, the old plug’s connections frequently slipped off, causing frustration. With this innovative, free-hanging design, that problem is eliminated. Now, I can confidently use the sink to retain water or monitor for hair buildup without the hassle.

This fits great and has a bunch of different size bushings so you can use it in whatever size drain you have. It holds water well when closed and drains very well when open. It has a little bit of a puddle left when finished draining about a little bigger than a silver dollar. Not a big deal. Not a huge surprise with a large flat raised portion. But I wasn't expecting it until I saw it, then it made sense. No complaints.

Works for me. 2 sinks. They both fit with the provided gaskets. This is all metal, no plastic. Worth the extra cash compared to others.
