I got this for my cockatiels and they love it! They frequently play on it and they also like to chew on the colorful balls. Very easy to install.

My bird loves the experience of this spinning perch stand. He jumps on it to make it move. He really seems to enjoy the motion of it. I like to change up his environment occasionally to keep things new and interesting for him. This spinning perch is one of his favorites.

Well made bird toy. I like that it’s made of wood and natural ropes. The colorful tips look attractive to birds. My budgies does like to hang around these perches. It’s a good size to fit into their cage. It’s safe and interactive.

When you receive this perch, it comes unassembled. The perches have to be screwed into the center base. One of the perches got a hairline crack on it because I torqued it too much. This was my fault and no fault of the perch. I noticed that the spinning mechanism seemed a bit stiff so I used a tiny bit of avocado oil to lubricate it and it freed up nicely.I put this spinning perch in my parakeets cage and they went crazy for it. I put it opposite of the swing so they could get a look at it before they tried to use it, but it only took a minute for one to jump on it and make it spin. The other parakeet jumped on and they had a blast for a good 5 minutes. The swing has been left as a rest station between bouts of spinning around. They have started playing with the end spinning disks and that has added to the fun. If you like noisy, happy birds… this is the perch for you.Size-wise, the perch is too small enough for a conure (I have a standard sized green cheek, yellow sided conure and he dwarfed it) as noted in the description. Also, if I tried to put it in his cage he would have torn it up quickly. It’s more suited to smaller birds like finches, sparrows or parakeets. They wouldn’t destroy the wooden perch like a larger bird would.Still, it’s a good quality toy for the right sized bird.

I wanted to love this product but there were a few down sides. I didn't realize the perch part spins. I put it in my bird's cage but then quickly realized that she would probably not understand that the perch spins and hurt herself. She is a little clumsy sometimes so maybe it's just me trying to be safe. Otherwise it could potentially work.

You need a pretty tall cage for this and plenty of room. It affixes to the top of the cage and doesn’t swing - only the four perches rotate. But it takes a fair amount of force (for a bird) to make it rotate which kind of defeats the purpose. My birds don’t like it.
