Some reviewers claimed these fit well by size, others claim them to be larger. I’m always a large in any glove I’ve worn and these are quite loose. Feel more like an XL or even XXL. Haven’t worn them in water yet but I’m guessing they’re not gonna do a great job due to the looseness.Quality is as expected or better for the price.

When I was a cash strapped teenager I used to surf in yellow rubber dishwashing gloves over stretchy knit gloves. That was better than these gloves. Seams are not sealed and they let in lots of water so your hands feel like they weigh 5 lbs each when you paddle. Unless you have fat hands, wrists and sausage fingers you should expect the same. I bought a large...usually wear L or XL in gloves. Probably OK for diving or SUP. Vissla is making some good gloves and boots these days- spend a little extra and get something that works. Thanks amazon for taking them back!

Haven't used in the water yet, very fast shipping and very comfortable fit/fabric. Great quality for the price but I would get a smaller size if you are a women. Cant wait to try out in the water!

These are surprisingly nice for the price. They fit great and have a nice and obviously contoured form. These have a wonderful grip that I think would be perfect surfing, though I bought them for fishing. They do fit larger than I expected but I should explain that I usually will buy a size large if I'm buying leather utility gloves because I just always feel like they bind up if I wear a medium. By that I mean my fingers can't move freely, especially with my palm planted on a surface. I got these in a medium thinking they should be snug but also because I'm planning on cutting off the fingers. Honestly though I'm picky about my fingers range of movement and my hands are really medium size and I'm surprised at how well these fit.

Perfect fit! I have small hands and i wear medium size gloves, ordered medium size for these and the fit is perfect. The quality seems good, so now let's see how long they will last. At that price it's a real bargain.

seams are clearly NOT waterproof, unlike the 100% guarantee they claim! (glue and blind stitched - well sort off). I ordered these because my other gloves let water in too easily at the very poor stitching, and hoped those would keep me warmer with less water exchange for cold water diving but I just tried them in my pool (with cuff opening out of the water) and could feel the water come in and getting wet. So much for 100% seals... might still be warmer than mine, so I'll give them a shot, but disappointed even if they were inexpensive.Update: dove 10 times on them now. they are glue and 'blind' stitched but due to poor workmanship many stitch go though making the seams leak. I ended up getting some Aquaseal and doing 2 layers to prevent seam leaks, which works a lot better, BUT now I see the neoprene itself is leaking little bubbles everywhere! never seen new neoprene not be watertight. May need to look elsewhere as they are not that warm (vs my drysuit which is fantastic)

These gloves are very comfortable. My sons use them for surfing when it's cold (NC winter).I use them mainly for fishing and oystering. They hold up well and are fairly warm for running nets and picking fish (nice grip) down to about 30-35 degrees.I use them under another roughie glove when oystering by hand in the NC winters, and they are great at keeping your hands comfortable while they are in the water. Once you are out of the water & running on boat, switch to a normal glove.Hope this helps someone

These are very comfortable, and you can't really beat the price. The stitching is top-notch, and has held up great so far. The palm grips are a nice bonus.Hyperflex is all over the place with their sizing. I wear size medium T-shirts, a size 11 shoe, and large leather gloves and winter gloves. However, after a couple of returns, I fit properly into a size large Hyperflex Access Wetsuit, size 9 Hyperflex booties, and Medium Hyperflex gloves. Now that I figured out that their wetsuits are too small, and their booties and gloves are too big, I couldn't be happier with the actual quality of the products, especially for the price. And Amazon, as always, was extremely accomodating with returns. If only I knew what size hoodie to get...

These are so enormous that they won't even stay on my hands. They were not expensive, so I ended up giving them to a friend. Also for being so loose, the fingers are not long enough, just too wide.

I have yet to wear these in the water, but will update my post when I do. I bought these gloves for surfing and abalone diving in the cold Nor Cal waters. These gloves fit my hands perfectly like they were custom made for my hands. I'm excited about trying them in the water soon.

It's always a crap shoot ordering footwear, gloves and other clothing items online. So, it's best to give some dimensions as a point of reference. My hand is 4" across the top of the knuckles and just over 10.75" in circumference at their widest point with the thumb tucked under as it is when you put gloves on. From the end of my wrist to the end of the longest (middle) finger is 7.5". These gloves are 11" long from the middle finger to the wrist end. They feel like they're not going to fit at first try because you'll have to pull hard to get them on. But, once your fingers are in place you know they'll be fine. Also, these are contoured in two directions. When your hand is laterally at rest, it has a natural arc from wrist to ends of fingers. The gloves are molded to that arc. The other contour is another lateral arc that runs from the outer/bottom edge of the hand (as you're looking at the palm) up toward the elbow. The gloves are also molded this way. They're very comfortable.I can't imagine these gloves being any thicker than 3mm without being entirely too cumbersome. Of course, that would depend on what function they serve. For example, these would work ok for metal detecting on a beach where a 5 or 7mm glove would be awkward. 'Might want a thicker glove snorkeling or scuba diving among rocks or wrecks?
