Good basic holder for my Midland MXT275 handset, however it would be nice to have a tiny tab on the 3M tape to remove it from the sticky mounting pad without destroying the protective padding. Utterly insane how difficult it was to remove.

This is a great mount. I have used it for both a GMRS mic as well as a handheld radio. The spacing of the holes must be universal or standard, as I was able to mount it to an existing mounting system of a different brand. I blacked out the logo, but otherwise, perfect for my needs.

Reworking my HYS ram type mount in the car needing to mount a new mobile radio mic and this works great. The form and hole pattern line up perfectly to the mount, so it was easy as removing the two screws and swapping this one in where the HYS handheld radio holder was so I just removed the adhesive strips entirely. Nice to see this one is aluminum versus plastic, great quality and should hold up well with my mic that has an aluminum hanging knob on the back.

I have an Anytone AT-5888UVIII and a DM-1701 I like to have on the dash for DMR. I’ve had the HYS clip mounts on using only the adhesive for about two weeks now and they show no sign of weakening adhesive or other failures.Build Quality:These are very well made for the price. The plastic is very strong and has absolutely no give when I mount even a fairly heavy HT on it.Mounting:I opted to only use the adhesive so as to not damage my interior, and it is more than strong enough. I’m impressed how well they have stayed attached in a hot car.Compatibility:These fit my mobile hand control perfectly. There is some horizontal room for wider belt clips so the radio does have some play there, but it has yet to move while I’m driving. This will depend completely on your radio’s clip design and width.Conclusion:These perform extremely well for the value. If they ever fall off or break I’ll come back and update the review. These really helped me customize my setup when my car had no other places to mount things. Having two gives me flexibility to mount my hand control in either place. With the screw mounts these things would be just about indestructible.

I mounted these on a RAM mount and it made for easy access to my comms. and a spot for my eyeball covers when I'm only running one mic. Worked for me.

Bought to hold radio in the cab of UTV. Mounted to a cupholder unit we had until I can stomach drilling holes to mount it to the dash. Seems to be good quality, and has stood up to farm and trail so far. Matches UTV color nicely.
