I picked this item up as memorabilia and/or conversation started for family and friends years down the road when the events around this statement have fallen well of the radar of the social zeitgeist. The hope is that someone will pick it up and become curious as to what it means and thus spark a conversation. If your familiar with military challenge coins, this is v very much akin to those. The graphics on the coin are excellent and easy to read. The gold is lustrous and highly reflective. The serrated edges of the coin are present but shallow. This may be because of the gold overly but that is the weakest element in this coin. I don't know where you land on the message of this coin, but it is a marker of a distinct time in US history, and it is simply excellent craftsmanship.

This coin looks ok. I don't see any bad scratches or marks on it. It comes in a hard plastic case and that comes in a thick zipper style bag. I don't really have any complaints with this product
