Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this table and chairs! The design, the quality, the functionality—everything is just amazing!The way this table extends is pure genius—so smooth and effortless! And assembly? A total breeze! Two of us had all eight chairs and the table fully assembled in about an hour. Every single part was there—no missing screws, no frustrating misaligned pre-drilled holes. Just a seamless, hassle-free experience!Then, I spent about two more hours applying the manufacturer-supplied hardwood oil, anyone they even included everything I needed in the kit. Got the 9 piece set and wow is it stunning. I have been wanting a teak set forever but the one at Macys for $2k+ wouldn’t deliver. This one had the best reviews. We now know why! My husband put it together in about an hour and based on reviews we decided to buy teak oil & hand stain within 2 days of setup. The staining makes it looks richer & it’s for protection. The personalized note and additional gift not in the listing description put the review over the top! A family business noted as handmade - What an amazing company and product. Many thanks! Don’t second guess, just buy it!

Love it for the most part. It took two guys with a drill about an hour to assemble and then it took several hours to put on the oil, but it looks great. The oil really brings out the color and makes it look much nicer than the image shown in the photo. It seems very durable and strong. I love the built in leaf... open for 8, or closed for 6. The mechanism is very easy to use.One "con": Some of the chairs seem to be slightly different heights, so they don't all slide under the table as they should, which is a bummer. Also, with the table legs, not all of them fit even if they could slide under. I could pretty much tell that before I purchased, so wasn't expecting anything different.Over all, it's very nice and I would recommend it.

I wanted to contact the manufacturer of this product, but Amazon could not provide any contact information, . Maybe this will get back to them. This set is easy to assemble and beautiful when completed. However, two of the chairs that were packaged together are not properly drilled to fit the screws provided. All of the others worked perfectly. With this pair, the screws just go around and around and never tighten up....and I'm afraid this will impact the sturdiness of these two chairs. We purchased all of this last fall but did not put them together until this spring as we are in New England. I hope this manufacturer will stand behind their product and contact me about replacements.

Wow! This set is FANTASTIC! I just finished assembling it today. I am a lifelong amateur woodworker so that experience gives me an ability to appreciate terrific work. This is without a doubt the highest quality "assemble it yourself" furniture I have ever seen. The pieces are machined so well there simply are no parts that one has to finesse together. They simply fit. Assembly was easy because I used by DeWalt impact driver, together with the right sized star shaped bit, to screw in all the screws (eight per chair times 8 chairs plus those on the table). My son put together the table and I did the chairs - all 8 in about an hour or so. Warning to those not experienced with an impact driver - don't go overboard on tightening or you could ruin some pieces - easy does it until you gain experience. I really believe that this set could actually be used as a dining room set for those folks not already having a more elegant set.
