I first played one of these at a music store in MD, when I was visiting there. It has haunted me ever since. Lately I played a show that provided me the funds to purchase it. I have always wanted an acoustic-electric bass guitar, and the thumb rest on this Ibanez clinched it for me. I'm baffled that more makers don't provide that. It's very reasonably priced, and I have no complaints. I need to do a slight truss rod adjustment, but other than that, it arrived in perfect shape in spite of the outer box being a little beat up.I've played bass professionally for over 50 years and I highly recommend this bass.

I bought this bass elsewhere. The finger rest is clutch - more acoustic bass guitars need this! Action was VERY high and needed to be adjusted (as do most new guitars). Has a great "earthy" tone, but it won't be as deep or rich as an electric. Is also very quiet. Best played plugged into an amp. All in all, a great option.

The bass is a very well-built, attractive acoustic, made in Indonesia. The sound is very unique but useable, it can be varied with Eq on the amp.Good value!The problem is the case they provide is useless.But at this price expected.A really bad surprise was as soon as I bought the bass at ¥52,000, they dropped the price to ¥48,000. I was thinking about returning it. Terrible policy.
