This is exactly what we needed: a tight fitting lid on a heat retaining container for tortillas, pancakes, frittatas, etc.Unfortunately, one came crushed inside the packing box, letting us know just how fragile these can be. We'll take great care with the remaining one and hope to use it for years to come! It works great, washes clean with ease, and will be a go-to for picnics for (we hope) years to come!(#6 polystyrene styrofoam is generally not recyclable and ends up in landfills where it won't decompose)

These tortillla warmers are perfect for a party. Reusable, but also disposable. These kept my freshly heated tortillas warm for 6 hours! Each holds about 30-40 taco-size corn tortillas.

It works great for keeping tortillas and other items warm and moist for several hours (keep in mind the diameter is only a hair more than 6"). This 3.5-inch height model holds a LOT of tortillas, but it still works well with smaller quantities. When I'm done I just give it a quick rinse to wash away any residual flour or masa particles if I think it needs it.Sometimes the least expensive stuff works best. I'm convinced this performs much better than more expensive alternatives. Unlike many of the alternatives you really don't need to prewarm it in an oven (nor should you!) because it insulates so well and has negligible thermal mass.I suppose one can find less expensive versions of these styrofoam containers in mexican/latin markets. However, I still think it's worth it since I haven't found them online for less and I'd probably spend more time and money locating one near me. I wish I bought this sooner.

Perfect fect for tortillas or pancakes! We had to get together with Mexican theme. Fresh corn tortillas was kept worm for about an hour. Everyone was impressed.

I honestly thought it was just one warmer, and didn’t pay attention to the description where it says “pack of 2” so I was pleasantly surprised. These are styrofoam warmers which is exactly what they use in Mexico in the taquerias, and it’s good that they are made of styrofoam because it will keep the tortillas warm for much longer. If you fill this to the top with hot tortillas they will easily stay warm for at least 3 hours.Being styrofoam you need to be careful as they could easily break if you are not careful, but this is expected of this type of material, as long as you treat it with care, it should last you a long time.Overall I’m quite happy with this purchase, I haven’t used them yet but I’m pretty sure that they will work exactly as expected based on their looks and feel.
