I didn’t realize before I ordered it, but this is a must have. It does everything it is supposed to do. It is easy to read, clean, and use.This has a proprietary cord that connects magnetically. Though I’m not a fan of proprietary cords, I understand why thy made one to meets the special needs of this unit.Using this thermometer is a frustration-free experience.

This thermometer is sleek, small, yet with numbers large enough to easily read, and it tells you all you need to know when in the cold plunge tub - the temperature, and how long you've been in there. If you're like me you might feel like you've been in there for an eternity when it's only been a couple of minutes, so this is very helpful!

I had been wanting a really good gauge for my cold plunge. I've tried making a few different things to let me see the time I'm in the plunge, but it's always less than ideal.After getting this, I love it! It floats right there with me, and I can fully submerge it if I feel the need. I wish it lasted longer on a charge, but I'm sure the cold kills it faster than the battery capacity would normally last at room temp. But since its rechargeable, that's not a big issue for me. Nice, clear display and a pretty accurate thermometer.

Well maybe I received a dud, but after charging for hours on two separate chargers this still won't turn on. I was really looking forward to using it. I'll keep trying, as it's hard to believe it would arrive defective, but for now that seems to be the case. I'll update my review if this changes.

I got this for one purpose and one purpose only - my cold plunge tub. It does have a timer, which is nice, but otherwise the timer is very basic. For me, that’s fine because all I need is temp and timer. The other as-etc that I liked is the price. At the price, I’d expect little more than it does. I checked the thermometer by a well trusted device I own and it is less than 1 degree different. Just a good, inexpensive item.

Good looking thermometer but pretty slow. The display looked broken when I first turned it on but then it’s fine. It looked this way again when I turned it on but then it goes away and looks normal.The buttons are annoying. They look like a touch sensitive button but you do actually have to push them. Not great tactile feel and cc as others have said they’re hard to see when the power is off. When the power is on they’re quite bright like the rest of the display (which is very nice).The solar charge is on the bottom so I’m not sure how great it will recharge but I’m trying to store it upside down so it charges.

Two things I didn't like is that the screen is not capacitive you have to press the button itself to make it work. The other thing is that the plasticky screen could bend with slight pressure and it can scratch easily (yes, even using your fingers). I know because when I was trying to wipe off some tiny dust particles that came with it, I already had some visible, ugly microscratches on the screen. Had they used better materials for this, it could be worthy of 5 stars. Moving on, you could use this not just in a pool but also in a jacuzzi setting, or even the bathtub. I could think of other uses of this gadget that I'm sure you'll be able to do yourself as well.
