These are great! Easy to use and fit perfectly over my snow boots. My front walkway has a lot of cement steps that always ice up with black ice and I have fallen several times in the past, no more falling with these! They prevent me from slipping on the ice. Well made with quality materials. They work perfectly and wish I bought years ago. Great value.

These cleats are very easy to put over any of my sneakers and boots. They offer a good grip which makes it easy to walk on snow and frozen snow. It offers a much safer grip on it them my shoes alone would. They are worth the money. They are easy to remove and put in your pocket when you need to go indoors and no longer require them.

This was a Vine program purchase. We have bought various types and brands of these "ice cleats" over the last 20+ years. They are essential for us as we live on a 3-in-1-grade hill in the snow belt. This is especially true when ice develops on the hills here in the early winter and late spring. Without cleats, you risk an accident as it is very easy to lose your footing and go over. It's even worse when using the snow blower as it tends to pull you over and run away if you cannot grip the ground. So these cleats are very well made. First, there are ten plated metal studs on each foot. This is slightly more than some of the competitors we have used in the past. Also, the metal pins in the cleats are about 25-40% thicker than the ones we have used., They are embedded in a yellow plastic insert which is very easy to see. Why is that important? Well as these cleats age sometimes you will shed one and so this makes it easy to see. Second, they are extremely tightly embedded in the rubber sole. This means the chance of shedding is reduced. I could not extract any of them no matter how hard I tried! Whether this is a tight fit or bonded is unclear. The rubber sole also has an embedded tread pattern. whereas typically most have no tread pattern at all. So, these attributes add up to potential improvement over traditional cleats.Unfortunately, we have not had any ice and minimal snow to try out these new cleats. I will note that the one thing in common with all of these over-shoe cleats is that they are incredibly tough to stretch over the shoe or boot. The upside is they are less likely to come off. The downside is you need a chiropractor to help relieve the pain in your arm from putting them on... In conclusion, this is an exceptionally well-made cleat from what we have seen that should work very well in the coming winter. One small negative is that the vendor does not supply any spare studs with the cleats. You do get a very nice bag to store them in when the cleats are removed - assuming you dare to try and remove them of. course.. Overall, highly recommended.

I have a long hill that leads from the back of my house to my barn. When I get heavy rain or sleet its slick as all get out and I tumble at least a couple of time a year. I have cleated boots, but they're a bit of a process to put on and tie up etc., so I was looking for a solution I could put on my old pull-on work shoes. Then I saw these and decided to give a try. They are indeed fairly easy to put on your chosen shoe, and once on they are firm and provide real cleat like grip. My problem is solved and for a very affordable price. These will be great for working in the icy snow too, as you can put them on any shoe, and they're very easy to take off with a rubber pull tab.

Yesterday morning there were icicles on the edge of our picnic table! Our deck and driveway were a sheet of ice, so I now have these ice cleats in my arsenal to fight against bodily threats of falling during these slippery winter months. The rubber is a fair thickness, so hopefully that will allow for a long life. However with placing these onto a woman's size 9 footwear, I did struggle a bit to get these on my winter boots. These snow cleats should only be worn outside, or on padded surfaces where they won't do any floor damage, as the studs, even though not being sharp, could possibly make imprints on a solid surface. They fit nicely when on the footwear, so I am pleased to be able to be protected from falls that can grip into the slippery surfaces, whether doing jobs around the house, like shoveling snow, or having fun with a wintertime activity.

I live in Texas, not really known for bad winters but we get an ice storm every year or two which causes havoc down here. These will give me the traction I need to get outside without slipping and busting my butt or worse. These fit well on my size 10 running shoes. The rubber is thick and grips the shoes well. The 10 metal spikes have a flat head to them, not pointed, but I imagine they will still grab the ice and snow well to give me grip. For a very reasonable price I now have a more secure feeling when the ice storms come.
