You can change this out in 16 minutes or less. The motor goes bad and would be cheaper to replace just the motor but this is a time saver. Tend to last about 18 months this is the third one to replace.

Was 4th icemaker in 6 years. Simply don't buy Samsung side by side fridges. Quality sucks...

It’s hard to get too excited about an ice maker but hey, it works like it should and seems to be quieter than the original one. Works great and does the job. Yay, ice!

It worked to fix ice maker that would not dump ice. Easy to replace. The item failed after only 6 months. It makes no ice test button does not work

After convincing myself that this broken icemaker was going to require an expensive service call I did a lot of reading online and determined that simply replacing it was a good gamble based on the symptoms and troubleshooting. And it worked, it was about the easiest home repair I did all year and took less than 5 minutes and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. Of course your fridge may have different issues than mine but this is exactly what I needed.

Works exactly as it should. Ice is being made once again.** please note. After installing this. You will need to do the following things for it to work. It took me a lot of Interweb searching to find this out.1st. It will not start up until the whole unit is cold. Interweb says that takes about 4 hours. So after it is installed nothing will happen. Just wait.2nd. You will need to unplug your fridge for like 10 seconds to get this to work. I couldn't reach the actual plug, so just flipped the breaker.3rd. Press the "Reset" button. Put the ice bucket back and close the door and you should hear the motor start up in a test phase.Ice should start being made after that.

Great product, exact fit, same as OEM part. Easy to install, works great. Just make sure that the model number for the Ice Maker Assembly is compatible with your Refrigerator model, and you shouldn't run into any challenges. Highly recommend. 5 Stars.

It was easy to changed it, just with a screwdriver, now a lot ice for the holidays! Came on time well packed, there was no any instructions how to change it, but it was easy, just because of that I gave four of five stars on rate
