At their current price of $5.99 for 2, this is a "you get what you pay for" situation. While I do appreciate the safety of screw on tops for these ice picks, I'd rather they had charged $5.99 for 1 and made it better, sturdy quality. It feels far too flimsy and lightweight to be effective in breaking up large chunks of ice
