I like that these came with a travel pouch. They work efficiently for the icy streets and sidewalks in Alaska. I bought these to wear over my work boots while walking to transportation. They gripped well and kept me from slipping on an ice patch. As soon as I got to airport I was able to slip them off and place them in their travel pouch and into my luggage.

The product is exactly as described and pictured. I had no trouble fitting them onto my boots, Women’s Size 7. It feels a bit “strange” walking with them on, sort of like walking on Smarties, but I am very thankful to have them when walking on snowy, icy sidewalks and roads! They are sturdy, and I anticipate having them for a long time!

I read the reviews before purchasing these and am a bit disappointed - but all ice conditions are different. I have tried these on smooth sheer ice, lumpy/bumpy ice, semi-frozen ice, frozen grass with ice patches, and on the sidewalk....and I'm not overly impressed. They're a bit unstable feeling - maybe that's just me. I know you will feel pretty much anything you attach to the sole of a boot/shoe, but I wasn't expecting to feel these as much as I do. I also find that I really have to concentrate on putting as much weight as I can on my feet when I walk with these on. My shoe size is ladies 7.5 and the S/M size does fit my boots quite well and went on easily. I wouldn't use them on anything smaller than a size 7 ladies. Will keep using these throughout the winter to see if it gets better! **after wearing these for a few weeks now...in really icy conditions....my opinion hasn't changed much. They do provide 'abrasion' but not as much as I was hoping for on uneven and/or bumpy hard ice.

I’ve had a mix of success with this type of product and the Icetrax cleats are a top drawer winner. They stay put on my boots and have excellent traction in all kinds of conditions. As a senior with limited mobility due to recent knee surgery, I feel safe, secure and comfortable tackling ever changing Alberta winter conditions in these cleats.

I walked with those a few times now. The cleats are very sturdy and give very good grip on snow and ice. Like all the grippies I had so far they are a bit uncomfortable on hard surfaces . For a five star review they would need two cleats in the front. With just one it does feel like my little toe is hanging off an edge. Could have invested in Icetrax pro, they have two cleats in front.

I loved them from day one, and where I am, Alberta, Canada. We have had minus 30 temperatures straight for a couple of weeks with ice everywhere.The only thing, watch your step on terrazo tiles which we have in our front hall. Very slippery there. I also love them in snow. they grab on and stop your foot from twisting all kinds of ways when the snow is uneven and bunched up in all sorts of manner. I need to pick up after my dog, and he sometimes goes where it's difficult to follow. Never thought I would be so pleased with them.

I used a competitor's product for a number of years, but recently broke them. When I looked at reviews for an updated version, they weren't very good. This brand popped up on suggested items, so I decided to give them a go. So far I'm very happy with them. They have a number of advantages: they have no right and left to try to figure out; the toe and heel are obvious and you don't have to look for labels to tell you which is which; the inside and outside are also obvious and you don't have to worry about putting them on inside-out. There is no wire pressing against the rubber straps. Consequently, it took only a few seconds to put each one on. They fit snugly and didn't move on my short, but steep, little hike in the mud, snow, and ice, either uphill or downhill. Yet, they removed easily, and retained less mud than the other kind. I wear a women's size 7 - 7.5 and was wearing an insulated hiking boot. The size S/M fit fine, snug enough but with enough room that they weren't squishing the boot down uncomfortably. Even if these only last a season, they're probably worth it in terms of convenience as well as safety.
