As you can see from my photo I painted it.I used paint that Bond's to plastic installation was easy but the instructions on where to put the suction cups there was none. There was no instructions on how to install the strapping. I had to do a Google search on YouTube to find a video on how to install. There is absolutely nothing online on how to set the suction cups it's a hit and miss you'll have to figure it out. There is no support whatsoever from manufacturer there's no information provided from manufacturer online or in Packaging. There is no video whatsoever of any air tunnel testing that they claim that they've done there's no video about anything.

Easy to install. It comes with number of different hooks to accommodate most, if not all, vehicles. I did not see much difference in fuel economy.

The shield blows down once in a while. But it does improve the fuel economy a little. Easy to install.

Nothing like it was promised... Bought this a while ago with the idea of "protecting" the front of the camper and hopefuly gaining some MPG.... None of the promises worked...So here's the breakdown: We just got back from a 271 mile drive between San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles, CA. 99% of the driving was done on the freeway and not on open fields or rural roads which attract bugs and other critters... it was daytime driving so there was "mass bug exodus" or anything like the bug density that you see at night. the result was depressing: with the exception of a small 3 x area (aprox) the camper looked like I just got a new paint-job. Bugs and smudge and all the freeway "extras" were stuck to my rig. There was no difference between the front of my truck and the front of the camper. And this was daytime...As for the fuel economy - I do not seem to get the same reults as the drivers who give this item a 5 star rating. I tried everything possible with no positive outcome. I do not drive faster than 60 mph, always on cruise control and try to avoid spilling the beers inside the fridge with rough acceleration or braking... I drove the rig for 5000 miles without the deflector and another 4500 miles with it on top... Absolutely no change !!!! Either I have a very aerodynamic camper ( not really - it is the standard Wildcat / Cougar that everyone tows daily ) or all thiese claims are just marketing.... It is true that I still need to go 500 miles to reach the same distance but, I calculate the MPG rigorously at EVERY fill-up and then average it ever 10 fills... Each time, the difference is within 0.02 MPG...Now, I need to mention that my truck is used solely for pulling the camper. It DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ELSE.... It does not even go to the mechanic ( I work on it myself at home), no empty legs to the gas station, etc... the only time it moves on it's own is after I disconnect the camper and park it inside the garage....The item does have a nice application though.. I do get nice remarks from people at the gas station or at the cam-site. i guess it does make the rig look a little bit more "professional" ....What made it worse for me was the fact that I contacted ICON and dared to make some design suggestions. Remember the bug problem?! I was trying to see if they can come up with a different model that would extend a little wider, angle differently so it can better deflect the wind or any other better design.... Their response was rude and basically told me: "If you don't like it - DON'T BUY IT !!!!!" Never meant to strike a chord, just asking questions to see if I can buy an improved version since this one DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED !!!!!!!!!!!!In my opinion, SAVE YOUR MONEY - DO NOT BUY THIS - LOOK FOR BETTER PRODUCTS !!!!!
