With any of ICON’s color options you can know they are UV-protected. White, Clear or any of the Smoke options have material that is protected. Nothing is worse than having a nice viewport become hazy, yellowed and less aesthetically pleasing due to UV damage.

Nobody wants to have a vacation cut short due to a very vital component such as your skylight failing. Skylights are not only exposed to sunlight and UV, but they can also be subject to intense weather, hail, tree branches and other such impacts. This is why ICON uses a THICK polycarbonate material that results in domes that have unmatched impact resistance.
Beyond material, important design considerations have been made to improve the durability of ICON skylights. Simple, but meaningful trimming is done to prevent flange lifting and to create an effective surface to seal to the RV roof. Pre-drilled holes are provided on the flange for most models. These holes are enlarged to allow for expansion and contraction at the mechanical fastening point.

The quick and easy install of ICON Skylight domes begins with a hassle-free setup process. First, prepare your roof surface by removing the old or damaged skylight, ensuring a clean and smooth base for the new dome. Then, apply the specially formulated ICON Skylight sealant generously around the opening where the skylight flange will rest. This sealant not only creates a watertight bond but also simplifies the installation, allowing for easy adjustments. Next, carefully position the dome over the prepared opening, and secure it in place using the screws.

Even though the current skylight in our motorhome's shower had slightly different measurements (18 inches x 21 inches) we opted for this 24 inches x 18 inches skylight because it was the closest size we could find.Our original skylight has two parts...an inside and an outside. The inside section fits up inside the outside skylight section and both are slightly more squared off compared to this ICON skylight, which is more of a gradual, more aerodynamic increase in height.Thankfully, we were able to keep the inside portion of our skylight since it wasn't cracked like the outside, but to ensure that it doesn't touch the new ICON outside skylight, we reinstalled our inside section about 1/2" lower than it used to be using an insert ring to take up the additional 1/2".Even though this ICON skylight is a few inches longer than our original, it isn't a problem because it installs entirely outside the ceiling opening, so we just split the difference of the additional 3" in the length.

I had to replace a broken skylight over the weekend after some wind damage. Found this replacement and the size was a perfect match for my old so I ordered it. After a bit of struggle removing the old one and some old sealant cleanup, I added some new putty tape and installed this new one. It looks great, fits perfect. I appreciated the wide lip style flange as it hides the old sealant ring and dirt from the prior skylight. Looks like it came from the manufacturer. Love it!

Easy reinstallation after having a bad experience with a company. Was made to redo the work myself. This product made it simple and easy to redo. Fit perfect. All holes lined up but 1 which wasnt a big deal. Highly recommend!

Looks good and what we expected. We replaced the one on my sister in laws trailer. Had to do a little adjustment but worked great. I would recommend this to anyone who need to replace their skylight. Nice and heavy.

The original skylight on r 1998 Pace Arrow was shot from UV exposure. I was checking it and put my hand right theough it. I was glad to see that Amazon had this replacement. I measured and it looked to be the right size. I got it undamaged and quickly but it is rather unimpressive for the price. It os also too big so some of my screws did not hit the old frame. I hope it does not leak. It was made in Canada.
