These are for dry mopping. Work fantastic on wood floors at a fraction of the cost of Swiffer or even Great Value. Even slighting larger then Swiffer for easier mounting to mop head. Highly recommend.

These pads are the right size for a Swiffer Duster wet mop. However, they are tissue-paper thin. You could literally use tissue paper instead. Because this product mimics tissue paper, you can use it to blow your nose. Sadly, they are not designed for a duster mop (their intended purpose). My order came vacuum-sealed in plastic wrap. The Amazon description showed them in a box. Where does Amazon want me to store this pile of tissue paper?

This product is so thin that it barely holds enough electrostatic charge to serve as a replacement for the more expensive (and thicker) Swiffer product. It doesn't work on floors. It pushes dirt around. It doesn't attract dust. For it to be useful dusting furniture I had to wet it with water, and then wring the water out until it was solidly damp. Only then, did it pick up dust. It could be use 2-3 times like that during one cleaning and then tossed.I initially rated the product at 1 star but then changed it to 3 star because it works quite well as a disposable damped wipe for furniture and appliances. After using it a few times, washing dust off in between uses, it held it shaped and dries fast because it's thin.I learned to like it.I doubt your mileage may vary.

First off, I want to let all readers know to TEMPER your expectations. These are NOT a drop-in replacement for the Swiffer Floor Dusters. They are perhaps one-third as good, for perhaps one-sixth the price. The main issue is that they are not as “fluffy” as the name-brand. Therefore, the maximum mass of dust particles they can trap and pick up off the ground is less than what you’d get with the fluffier, more expensive Swiffer dusters. My technique is usually to use it as a half dust-bunny-lifter / half broomstick, and go over the remaining little detritus pile with a handheld vacuum cleaner. The particles easily drop out of the vacuum container, instead of jamming it up with hair and other assorted nonsense.AND YET… the case for these dusters is strong. They’re cheaper, and you get more per package. And there’s one other case to be made--and maybe I’m the only one this happens to, but maybe it happens to you too. You go along with your typical floor sweeper, and as it becomes saturated with dust, you start to have dust bunnies forming along the sides of your cloth. What can then happen is that as you’re dusting in corners and crevasses, you actually deposit some of the dust that you’d picked up prior. This results in family members or roommates saying things like “did you even clean??” The solution, of course, is to toss the cloth you’re using, grab a fresh one, and go over the baseboards and table legs a second time… which doubles your cost. That consideration alone makes the cost savings on these cheap cloths worth it, even if the quality of each individual cloth is very obviously inferior.

I put 2 together to increase length for my microfiber mop. It gets the grit out of laminate floors and pet hair sticks to it like a magnet and we have five cats and three dogs. It's nice that once you're done using them just peel it off your mop and throw it away no mess to contend with. I would highly recommend getting this product if you don't mind them being very thin. Now if they have to be thicker then go with the name brand but for the price it works great.

Anyone coming to my house takes their shoes off at the entryway. The attached picture is two weeks' of my living room floor and living room staircase landing. It pulls up a lot of stuff that the cheaper ones I was using didn't. I use these before I wet Swiffer the floors to get the crud up and they get it done.

I find it doesn’t sweep as well. And there is absolutely no scent.
