It has a good look, carries a lot of weight (multiplied backpacks with text books), and shoes. I didn’t use the wall anchoring because I’m renting and didn’t want the fuss. It has never fallen though

This was easy to set up, looks nice and was sturdy! Unfortunately it just doesn’t work well for the places we thought it would, so we are returning it, but it is a great product- my wife and I were sad it doesn’t fit our space well, maybe it will yours.

I was initially looking for something to use as a coat rack and store shoes. I also didn’t want to pay a fortune! This stand was much more sturdy than I anticipated. We have loaded every hook with every size and weight jacket we have and it doesn’t even show any signs of wanting to lean. If I had a complaint it would be the distance between the hooks and the bench. It would be nice if it were a bit taller. However, the measurements are clearly given before you buy, so that is on me. If we hung our coats/jackets by the collar and not the “hood” it would not be an issue, regardless, it does exactly what it was intended to do. If anything changes I’ll update my post at that time.

The piece was very easy to assemble but I only got to the first rack and that's where there was an issue. The bottom rack(s) had very sharp edges on a few of the weld areas. The first time I got "pricked" I just took a file and smoothed down the tiny area. This happened two more times and on third time it drew blood. They were so random that I did not want to take any more chances. I carefully went lightly over more of the welded areas and felt more sharp metal. I would like to think this totally random and other orders have been fine. But I do want other buyers to check to make sure. I'm assuming also there hasn't been other incidents. I really liked it, but I don't want to try again.
