Depends on your carpenter skills. The annoying part is to dig the hole in a curved fashion since it is how the hidden piece travels. Other than that, does the job beautifully.

Ugh! I spent 2 hours meticulously chiseling out a pocket door to fit this pull. I was finally ready to install the pull. Screwed the first screw in with now problem. The second screw got 95% of the way in and then snapped at the head. Now I am left with a chiseled door that I can’t attached a pull to because I have a broken screw impeding the way. I tried to reach out to customer service for support but their website is invalid. Now what? Ugh. Why skimp on cheap screws?!?!?

One screw head broke off, and other stripped out with very little pressure, even after pre-drilling holes. I can’t speak the quality of the handle itself yet, as install was delayed by this, wasting and extra 1/2 hour getting the broken screw out of our door, and causing damage to our door. Handle itself “seems” like sturdy metal, but I have little faith at this point in the springs/mechanism. We’ll see. Would be nice if the company would send 2 new screws which can actually function as screws.

I replaced my old brass edge pull with this one. It looks so much better. The pull is solid, well constructed and fit perfectly. Looks and works great.

Well, I’m glad I only bought one as a test. The quality looks decent, however, you have to basically dig your fingernail under the latch (and it is not easy), and finess it out. It is spring loaded, and it wants to snap back into place. I don’t need to be fumbling around to close a door and image this would be very frustrating. I’m going to send it back.
