This part is incredible, when I purchased it I had doubts that it would be compatible with my 2000 Toyota Corolla but it is. This part was important to fixing my car, my car would just wouldn't start and if it did if I stopped at a light or sign it would turn off. This part helped fix my car and saved me money.

2000 corolla had bad idle speed issue (sputtering). Bought this idle air controller valve. Installed and car wouldn't hold idle. Kept stalling. Cleaned up the old unit (toyota valve) with carb cleaner and put it back. Car idled better. This item's electrical connector doesn't fit well. Toyota brand part is very pricey ($250+). Was hoping it work. Disappointed. Will have to return it.

I had an engine code P 0550 that would come on occasionally and I would clear the check engine light and reset the system I finally ordered this part and installed it in my 2000 Chevy Prizm. Just after 1 and a half hours it was installed. There is a proper procedure in resetting the idle and computer memory . I reset the idle after following the Video on You Tube and it worked perfectly. Hope this helps anybody who has this same issue.
