This was a good buy. Frankly for the value I got a great quality headset support that really works well. I barely use the battery since I play PC but still nice to have with the upgraded support. Great buy.

Don’t expect this to charge request while you are using it. The best you can do is keep up and keep it at the same level. You cannot charge at the same time.

Doesn't hold charge very long.Didn't come w a charging cord. Not made w durable materials...pieces started breaking off on the second day I got it for my 52 yr old husband..not worth the $

The Meta OEM Elite Strap with Battery is overpriced, in my opinion. Especially when there are so many third party alternatives that do the same job and provide the same extended battery option. I had the Elite Strap with battery for my Quest 2 and it was quite nice, however they changed the design of the side straps that connect the headset to the head strap and you can’t use the Quest 2 elite strap with the Quest 3. As mentioned, since I wasn’t going to pay the ridiculous cost to get a new OEM elite strap with battery, I needed to find a nice quality and less expensive alternative. This Lesooy strap with battery does a fine job providing the same quality and experience as the OEM strap. Battery life is nearly identical and the comfort is nice too. I will say the top cushion on the Lesooy is…”different”...and I haven’t fully made an opinion if I like it more or less than the OEM strap. I do like the Lesooy strap over the OEM because of one significant design difference: the three different adjustable angles and the ability to lift up the front headset part without having to take the entire headset off! Ultimately, I would absolutely recommend this as an add on accessory to your stock Quest 3 headset.

Full disclosure: The first time this came, the top, over the head strap was missing. No issues with Amazon returns of course, and the kit was complete the second time around.Looks to be as advertised. My Quest 3 isn't here yet, but if my experience with the 2 is any indication, all I can say is that you'll have to try it. I probably went through 5 straps or more before I found one that worked for me. This one has a large back of the head cup, but the top strap only goes to the center. It can't be spread out like the OEM one. That may be perfect for some, others will hate it. This looks like it will work for me, but personal preferences being what they are, YMMV. Looks to be priced commensurate with quality.
