I recently picked up the Ignik 20-Pound Propane Tank Case with Bucket Lid Seat for my overlanding trips, and it has proven to be both functional and convenient. Rather than having my tank exposed to the elements or banging around during transport, this case offers a sturdy cover—and an unexpected bonus in the form of a built-in bucket lid seat.First ImpressionsSturdy Construction: The material feels tough and well-stitched. This will hold up to frequent use and rough handling.Clean Aesthetic: Hides the typical propane tank look, giving your campsite or overland setup a more polished setup.Easy Setup: Fits snugly around a standard 20-pound tank; no complicated straps or buckles to figure out.Design & FunctionalityBucket Lid Seat: Surprisingly comfortable for what it is. It’s handy when you need a quick place to sit, whether you’re fishing, tailgating, or just chatting around the campfire. Also functions as a stepstool which has came in handy more than once when needing to access the roof of our 4runner.Weather Protection: Helps shield the propane tank from direct sun, rain, and minor dings.Convenient Transport: The case’s handle/straps make it much easier (and cleaner) to carry or move the tank.ProsVersatile Two-in-One: Doubles as both a protective case and a functional camp seat.Durable Material: Withstands outdoor conditions and normal wear-and-tear.Improved Camp Aesthetics: Hides the propane tank and hoses, giving your setup a tidier appearance.Easy to Carry: The cover’s design offers more grip than a bare tank.ConsLimited Cushion: The bucket lid seat is fine for short rests, but it’s not a plush chair by any means.Bulkier Storage: The attached seat lid can make the case a bit more cumbersome to store when not in use.Final ThoughtsIf you’re tired of looking at a raw propane tank and want a little extra seating at the campsite, the Ignik 20-Pound Propane Tank Case with Bucket Lid Seat is a clever solution. It protects your tank, keeps your setup looking neat, and offers a quick seat when you need it. For anyone who camps, tailgates, or travels with a 20-pound propane tank, this cover-and-seat combo is well worth considering.Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Very durable and works great for overlanding. I’ve used this on multiple trips with standard tanks and it’s definitely worth the purchase. Good product, buy it!

Clark gas and blue rhino tanks will not fit in this diameter case. These are the only propane tanks offered near the Birmingham, AL area. Tanks are 1.5-2” larger diameter.

This bag does the trick, fits perfectly. 4 stars only because the clips that hold the shoulder strap on are a little flimsy. I was worried they would break so I replaced them with some metal carabiners. The seat is very nice.

Super nice tank holder, looks nice and is well made. Tank can be used as a seat when it’s zipped up in the holder and it makes carrying the tank around way easier because of the strap
