Should have included small pack of silicone grease for installation, had to drive to autozone 40miles away to purchase , waste of time and gas ; spent more on gas than part was worth??????

Installed on a Chevy S10 with the 4.3. runs and drives and everything but does not run like it does with the ac Delco module installed. The only thing I would say it's good for is trouble shooting. Would not recommend running this for any period of time.

Cheap part .didn't come with heat sink paste to install which delayed the install and it worked for about 30 minutes.

Works just fineCame with the thermal paste as wellUpdate: little over a year now and this part has failed. Real rough idling and rpm drop and high rpm’s fluctuated so bad at times truck would die , had tested at advance auto parts store to verify part was or had went bad. I was actually leaning based on how truck was acting , that it was another type of problem at first 🤷

I am an experienced mechanic. I've worked on foreign and domestic, old and new. I was replacing the old part because I was experiencing an occasional missfire on my GMC Suburban and the OBD error indicated this is the issue. This part looks like it should work. The specifications say it will fit my vehicle. It appears to be identical to the old part. However, when I installed it the car would not start at all. I reinstalled the old part and the car started right up.They don't issue refunds on this part. They decide whether or not they will replace it or not. Of course that takes days. Between the aggravation and the delay in obtaining a working part (if the next one works), better look elsewhere.Update: Upon requesting return I received an immediate refund.
