Tried to put it in and the push button wouldn’t fit in the hole on bottom so the ignition wouldn’t shut off and tried second time and it fell apart !

This ignition switch came apart before I even installed it. The little plastic clip on the side of the switch that is orange in color and has a brass-colored contact on it fell off the switch before I installed the ignition switch. So I attempted to reinstall the orange plastic part and I installed the ignition switch into the steering column but the key warning buzzer would not go off. So I took the ignition out and replaced it with the old unit. The keys with the new switch the black hard plastic part you hold on to is way thinner and smaller than my original key. Hmmm, So I busted the hard plastic part in pieces and never saw any "chip" in the plastic part on the key..... I threw everything into the trash can. This is a waste of money. No need to buy this. JUNK!!

It is what it says, everything is there its exactly as described. Unfortunately it was the wrong one for me. But it's well built worth the money if it fit it would have been easy to replace.

When I opened the package the switch fell apart. It was packed in bubble wrap. Think it was a returned item ? Returned it for a refund, didn’t want to chance the same thing happening so will pay more and get a local auto shop to replace my faulty switch.

Key cylinder lock did not fit. Almost damaged my steering column, trying to make it fit. Wasted time my time working on it. Just make it’s the same lock configuration.

I have bought many ignitions for my Ford E250 ‘08. The one with the orange plastic tab is the best. The ones without may be listed compatible but don’t work for me- they make my door bell ding fastI keep buying from this seller because I don’t have any problems. The only reason I buy so many is due to hoodlums trying to steal my van. I don’t fix my door locks cos I don’t want window broken (yes i live in a city) the PATS system and kill switch do the job. Unfortunately the idiots still try…..
