They work, but do not snuggly hold one shovel and the first time a branch snagged the shovel, the rubber strap on one side tore. Fortunately I have bungee cord for extra hold.

I would have given this item a five star rating, but, I had to make some adjustments (field expediency) to make them fit exactly. Once on they are great.
