The threads did not fit the car. All BMW tow eyes are 16mm x 3.0. These tow straps were larger than that.

I needed two tow points to pass tech. I used the factory one and then bought this for a second. This got me through tech inspection. But I would NEVER use it. It’s clearly too weak and cheep to be counted on. It might work once. But it also might break and hurt someone.

Metal is smoothed at all where the strap is passed thru. The likeliness of it tearing out is pretty much a guarantee. I absolutely don’t recommend this for looks but especially for any Towing of any kind.

Fits a 2019 BMW M240i xdrive in front and rear tow points under number cover without touching any paint. Perfect fit.

I purchased two of the tow hook straps (black) for my 2013 BMW 328i M Sport (F30). Item seems very well constructed, materials are great, and threads fit grooves spot on. Fitment on the front tow hook attachment turned out to be a little slanted when fully screwed in. I was able to remedy this with a 1" general use ring I found at Home Depot for just $1.18 +tax. After attaching one 3/16" thick ring on the bolt, fitment came out straight on. Rear fitment was straight on from the get go with no additional spacing needed. Just know you may need to add 1" diameter washers to have the strap appear vertically on your bumper(s). Note: Bolt threading is 3/4" wide and bolt rod is 1" wide. Front tow hook attaching is not deep in the bumper and easy to get to. Rear tow hook is a different story, and you will have to reach your fingers a bit in the bumper to get the threads going (probably 2-3" in the bumper, at least for M Sport bumper). Pictures are attached below. Overall, awesome product.
