Got these for my son's 2017 Tacoma and he installed them himself. Easy install and they look great. They are extremely bright, much brighter than I expected them to be but my son loves them.

Very satisfied with the brightness and ease of installing. One screw to remove the stock fog light. No need to disassemble bumper just reached in. Do watch out connecting backwards

Very bright lights. Seem to be built well. A lot of people were saying that there was a gap when they mounted the light and there is if you use the factory tabs on the back of mount. Just put the tabs on your light in front of the factory mount tabs and swing the light over and install the screw and they fit flush. I did take apart the light and silicone under the lense and around it due to some people saying it wasn’t water tight. But over all for around $100 I think they are a good value. Time will tell.

For the first few months of ownership, I was very impressed with these fog lights - they offered a great upgrade to both aesthetics and performance. However, spontaneously this spring, I noticed my passenger side light was dim and flickering. I tested the wiring with the stock fog light and there were no issues there. Upon closer inspection, I noticed water inside the housing! I have yet to even take the truck offroad - it has absolutely never been submerged. I have no idea how so much water could possibly have gotten in there.I reached out to support to request a single replacement light - this is clearly a defect of some kind, it has just taken time to present itself. I was told that due to their 90-day replacement policy, they could not issue a replacement. I find that extremely disappointing. Up until this point, the light worked flawlessly.Buyer beware! Spend a bit more on a more reputable brand.

Don’t waste your money! I bought these lights for my husband in November for a Christmas gift. He put them in mid January and one stopped working sometime in February; he checked it out March 8 and found the plug turned green, full of corrosion. I contacted company and they wouldn’t do anything because it was past 90 day from time of purchase. They would not honour that it was a Christmas gift and give 90 days from Christmas. My husband opened the light up to try and fix it and found it full of moisture and all corroded inside.

TLDR: These are incredible lights; SOLID construction, outstanding fitment, excellent light output. Direct plug-and-play took maybe 10 minutes to do a total install on my 2014 (2nd Gen) Tacoma. Well worth the money. 10/10 would recommend.Theory/My Needs:I’ve purchased quite a few lights for my truck via Amazon. My general theory is this: LED tech these days, even for very average grade lights far exceeds the top-tier lighting just a decade ago for genuine racing applications, and since they’ve become so reasonably priced I generally treat them like a consumable; they are not forever purchases. The comparisons I’ve seen between a lot of no-name lighting and really high-end stuff like Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics, Rigid, etc. seems to be quite small in the grand scheme of things, particularly when pushed into the context of your average user and non-Score Baja 1000 user like me. My needs consist of lighting dark mountain passes and illuminating campsites/work areas, and I’ve bought a compliment of lighting to meet those needs (mostly Nilight). They work fine and I have few complaints for the cost. Why Purchased:Unfortunately, one of my factory OEM ‘driving lights’, or ‘fog lights’ (despite being clear) developed a leak and filled with water which destroyed the reflector part of the passenger assembly. It bugged me to have a cataract on my otherwise handsome truck and I started looking for replacements. Many of the options were cheaper than these, and after having done some more driving I realized that an amber flood would work best for my needs here in CO where it can be dark and dusty/snowy on the trails. They seemed to have pretty good reviews, and despite the additional cost which put them right between my Nilights and something like a Rigid, I decided to give them a shot.Shipment & Concerns:They were delayed getting to me, and I have to say I was starting to worry they were just going to be like the Nilights but for quite a bit more money. I chose these mainly for the overtly advertised fitment, however was somewhat worried because after I ordered them they seemed to show only a 3rd Gen fitment (despite Amazon telling me they’d fit my 2nd Gen). Both of my concerns turned out to be unfounded. They finally arrived in a surprisingly small box which, for whatever reason, had been packed in a brown paper shipping bag, and the box had taken some damage because of it. When I opened the box I discovered the lights seemed to be undamaged, and when I lifted one out, I was shocked at its weight and sturdiness. I sincerely mean that; I could not believe how much more substantial these were when compared to my Nilight fogs (which work quite well). The build quality of these things simply eclipses that of the Nilights, as well it should for 3x the cost.Aesthetics & Installation:Aesthetically, I’m a bit old-school and like the round lens look. These are the more typical ‘pod’ type which have four smaller round apertures; making it seem as though a square light has been placed in a round hole. I wasn’t sure how they’d look on the truck but got to work installing them anyway. The installation couldn’t have been simpler. To give myself a little more room I pulled the two 10mm fender fasteners at the front bumper. Then I discovered that there are only two #2 Philip screws that hold each light in place. I made very short work of that, and wondered how effective the adjustment knob on the lights would be (I still don’t know this as they were pretty much pointed where I wanted them out of the box; I’ll update this when I get around to it though). Installation was fast; they fit perfectly and I had the entire operation done in 10 minutes or less. They came with pigtails, but those weren’t required or useful for my truck, and they simply plugged right into the harness. I will say that I’d like to have seen a weather seal there. I’m not sure why they didn’t have one as the pigtails did. If I have a gripe with them, that’d be it.Once installed, I did what most anyone would do and stepped back to take a look at what I’d just done. They look great. They look fantastic! They’re a clean design that works very well in the openings for the lights. While this is subjective, I think they look a lot better than the OEM lights did. Okay, so I’m well pleased with this so far, but the final test is whether or not they work. I hit my OEM switch on the dash and sure enough they fire right up. Just like they came with the truck. I wasn’t too surprised at this, but was once again very pleased that there was no fussing and no inadvertent mis-wiring of the positive and negative leads which seem to be a fairly common issue with off-brand LED lights.Operation; How Well Do They Work:And that just leaves us with the light output. I’ll say these are extremely bright. Maybe not full Diode Dynamic SS3 bright, but once again they eclipse my Nilight 18032C-B 6.5” Amber spot/flood combo lights, though once again the Nilights were $30 where these are $135. When I hit my full compliment of forward facing lights, it is daytime, and these are the 2nd most powerful ones I have; the most powerful are the 7” Nilight Spotlights. With the addition of these iJDMTOY lights, I’m reconsidering the 7” lights and my amber Nilight 6.5” fogs which now seem redundant. This would allow me to relocate the 6.5” lights to the side as work lights or the rear as chase lights, and get a smaller light set for the top of the truck to replace the spots which will reduce frontal area and, likely, eliminate some wind noise (not that I really hear it any).Final Thoughts & Summary:If you’re considering these, I’d say that unless you’re racing or need the assurance of a really truly proven brand for some very serious offroad adventures, these are probably the right compromise in cost/performance. They’re more than I need, and honestly, as much as I want for a fraction of the price of the nearest name-brand equivalent. They’re more expensive than the cheapest options by several times, but the quality (at least the initial quality) appears to be well worth the initial expense if you care about such things. While I still feel lights are a consumable, these are far less so than the Nilights (and Bunker) which live elsewhere on my truck. The kit came with the lights (which are adjustable), pigtails, and a couple of screws (hex head). There is no harness or switchgear associated with them. They are direct plug-and-play, and were an outstanding fit. The light output is excellent and exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish is very, very good. They appear sturdy and very well made. 10/10 would recommend.
