This is a thick, heavy weighted wearable blanket. Very comfortable and warm on it's own. The heating element does not get warm enough to notice even on the highest setting.

I gave this as a gift to my daughter. She's the kind of person that would set the thermostat to 80 if you let her. Her husband...not so much. She practically lives in this! She says it's very soft and warm. Will definitely keep her warm if they lose heat this winter.
