I use this type of hub at work to connect my second screen and other peripherals to my laptop while working in other offices (much of my work is done in client's offices). Unlike the old ones I used to have, which only allow connection to things like USB flashdrives or USB receivers for wireless mice, this one distributes power for my second screen and can connect up to a HDMI video cable, and can read SD and microSD memory cards. These things used to cost $50; still do if you don't check out one like this, which works perfectly.

This is very helpful because my laptop doesn't have hardly any ports on it, so being able to utilize all the accessories I want to is well worth less than $8 in my opinion. It is lightweight but seems durable, the ports hold the plugs snugly, its easy to store and to transport as well. Overall great value for the tiny bit of money they wanted for it.

L'adaptateur fait le job, il chauffe un peu quand il a pas mal de choses de branchés.Je l'utilise pour mettre mon chargeur de macbook pro 15", mon disque time machine en usb, brancher un écran en hdmi et charger un device bluetooth ou deux à l'occasion.Cependant il n'a pas parfaitement fonctionné sur un Macbook 12" (peu être du au macbook en question avec son unique port type c)

Uno dei migliori adattatori che ho comprato, sempre per il mio MacBook air 13 2018, compatibilità perfetta i instantanea, porta Ethernet riconosciuta alla prima connessione e subito funzionante . Per quanto riguarda il design tutti in alluminio come quasi tutti gli adattatori Apple ma la scelta del cavetto salvaguarda le porte del pc

Works smoothly with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 (SM-T595). I am using it to connect to Ethernet LAN in locations without WiFi, and to access USB devices.
