This is a beach themed resin art kit. The kit contains everything you will need to complete the project, including small sea shells and sand, UV resin and curing light, paints and pigments, roppers, plastic spoon, painter's tape, and an instruction manual.The instructions seem well written. There is a recommended video that is accessed by a QR code. I suggest that you hold onto the outer cardboard packaging as there is a convenient color chart on the underside.I am looking forward to starting this project.

Even though this was a fun project to do I have to give it 4 stars because it needs better instructions, more UV resin, and thicker UV resin. I'm very experienced using resin, yet I still had trouble understanding all the instructions.They provided more than enough of every product, except the UV resin. There was just enough of it to complete the project. Yet they tell you if you don't like something wipe it off and redo it. I say don't do that with any of the UV resin unless you have your own to use in case you run out.Speaking of the UV, I think it needs to be thicker. If your surface isn't fully level or you bump the frame before you have cured it the resin will flow where you don't want it.Other than those mostly minor issues it was a fun craft to do and I love the way it came out. And I had fun creating it.Would I buy it to do a second one? No, because I feel it is a little expensive for a UV resin kit. If it had 2 shadow boxes and more UV to create 2 beach scenes then I could justify the cost. As it is now, I think it should be priced under $20.I know this review sounds like I'm complaining about a lot to only give it 4 stars. That's because I feel all those complaints together are why I'm giving it 4 stars. By themselves I don't think any of the issues I had would be enough to drop a star, except maybe the price.I had too much fun and like the final piece too much to give it a lower rating.It doesn't say this in the instructions, but I highly recommend you let your beach sand and paint mixture dry before you continue. Also, make your beach area deeper with sand (than the ocean part) or you could get your ocean up into your beach area.

Although I have not used this yet, it looks awesome. I plan on taking it to the beach for the older kids to use on a rainy day or in the evenings. I'm hoping they can actually add some of their own sea shells. It doesn't look too complicated with adult help/supervision.

This kit has everything needed to create the framed picture displayed on the front of the package. However, the instructions are a bit confusing. When they reference a “cup” the diagram looks like a 8 oz cup. Which totally threw me since the required ingredients might equal an ounce or two. I dug through the “tools” that came with the kit, and the cup being referenced is actually less than a shot of whiskey. It’s really small. So if you feel you didn’t receive all the necessary tools to make this picture, you probably did. They’re just in miniature.

This kit is so nice, it comes with detailed instructions, lots of materials to complete and I love the colors along with the beach theme. It came in a cute box with the items in compartments, no leakage of anything and I think it would make a fun gift for the crafter in someone’s life who wants to experiment with uv resin and the light can be used for future projects too. I plan on doing the kit with my kids outside but the weather has not been supportive as of yet but I’m impressed with the contents, the quality of the materials, the theme and I think the rest will be up to us to make it. I’ll update once we’ve completed it and report how it works fully.

I am so angry about this set. I was planning on making this craft with my daughters on Mother's Day, so I didn't open it until then. When we sat down to do it, with my girls all excited, I opened the box only to find that the glass part of the frame was broken. I've never been more disappointed in my life.I can't review anything else about this kit, because we didn't make it. What's the point if there's no way to cover the frame? If the manufacturer could send me a new glass cover, I'd be happy to make the craft and update my review. As a Vine reviewer, however, I have to write reviews based on what I receive.
