This thing is pretty sturdy - had it through a few training burns which ours tend to be hotter than most structure fires. Has held up well for the year or so I've had it. Impressively bright.

Love these helmet bands. Foxfire is the only band I buy. It charges in seconds and is bright enough to be seen in smoke filled environment. It lasts about forever.

Great addition to my firefighter helmet. Other reviewers are correct, it fades quickly but its definitely worth adding to your helmet. All-in-all, I'm am very happy with it.
