We purchased this item twice. The first time the product would play but wouldn't charge the ipod. We returned it and purchased a 2nd one. This time the product charged the ipod but only for the first few days. Now it only works as long as we charge the ipod first. We have tried to get in touch with the company that we purchased it thru and have no luck.

This iLuv FM transmitter works great. This is the second FM transmitter I have purchased for my iPod nano, and I am very happy with it. It actually works better then the first one I had, and comes with adapters to hold whatever style of iPod you are using. It's easy to ensemble and use, and I highly recommend this transmitter for any iPod user.

After the Transpod I was using for 10 years died, I found this one and was hopeful from the other reviews, however, the sound quality was not great. The sound was not as clear and the music was duller than the singing that would play from using the device. My iPod also would rattle in the adapter unless I folded a piece of paper and stuffed it in the side to keep it from moving around. After having it for only a month and a half the whole thing died. Never getting this again

Where do I even begin to describe what a piece of junk this thing really is?1. Cheap construction all the way around. It figures, "Made in China"2. FM transmitter didn't even work. I tried several white noise frequencies and nothing at all except silence.3. The power plug doesn't connect well at all and occasionally losses connection.4. Power plug length adapters would have better constructed if made from the cardboard tubes from toilet paper rolls.5. It does charge my iPhone when, and only when, all the stars in heaven align properly and my iPhone is plugged in correctly.6. The swivel (left to right and right to left) is way too loose. It swings right into the way of my shifter.7. LCD screen is impossible to read during daylight hours. My only advice..... save yourself from disappointment and DON'T BUY IT!!

This is the first FM Transmitter that I bought and I think I was lucky to to get it right in one try. Incredibly easy to use, charges iPod. My 160GB Ipod Classic fits in it just fine and I can even leave it in its case. The sound quality is pretty good, supports stereo sound as well. This might have to do with the fact that I've only tried one frequency so far just to test it, but there's a bit of white noise, nothing too distracting though. I definitely recommend this transmitter

We used the transmitter for a road trip from New Hampshire to Atlanta. Pros: Tunes the whole band. That's very important if you are traveling, as you will find the "white space" (where there is no signal, so you can slip in the iPod signal) will move. Charges *and* plays at the same time. Easy to use.Cons: This was not an issue for us as we had the unit in a Mitsubishi Gallant, which has a lot of choices for power outlets, but you may have a problem with the articulated boom from the power adapter to the holder. Make sure it will fit and articulate they way you need it, e.g., not into the shifter, in your car.

The iluv I707 FM transmitter was extremely easy to use. I am in no way a tech savvy person and it took me about a minute to get it working. I have a 3rd generation nano and it fit into the dock perfectly, even with the casing on. You literally plug it into your lighter and find a station and you're done. If you're worried about it not fitting into your lighter, I have a pretty old and crappy car and it fit into mine just fine. I would say that if you are looking for a transmitter for your ipod this is the one to buy.

OK, I didn't fully read the description that states this product doesn't fit the iPod nano 3rd generation. However, I placed some padding inside the adapter which allowed the nano to fit snuggly. As a disclaimer, I doubt this is a recommended practice. That being said, this product transmits on the FM frequency of your choice, resulting in excellent sound quality. Also, this adapter can be assembled is disassembled within seconds, even on the first time using the device.A word of warning - even though I unplugged the adapter from the power outlet, the adapter continues to transmit. I'm sure this action will quickly charge down your nano battery. Just be sure to remove the nano from the adapter when you're done.
