The order was delayed and I almost took off a star, but for the price I felt the quality was so nice that I left it at 5 stars. Kids love it. Challenge for adults too... Actual wood, cute pictures.

I saw this on social media from a couple who play baord games together. I bought it thinking I could play with my preschooler grandson and it was a hit. With him the game doesn't last quite as long as if playing with an older person but it's been fun and I feel like my older grandkids will enjoy as well. It seems well made.

We ordered this balancing game for our 4 year old, but honestly everyone (including the grandparents) enjoyed giving it a go. Nicely made & a good size - highly recommended :)

My 2.5 year old is obsessed with animals, especially farm animals. This is perfect for him! He can balance all the animals after much practice. Great for motor skills. We sing songs as he adds them (old McDonald etc) and I’m also teaching him how to name the animals in other languages. He also uses them for other games/ with other toys (made a barn out of megablocks etc. A lot of play possibilities. The paint is chipping off in some places but he plays hard and uses this set everyday. Overall a great buy and would recommend for toddlers who love animals.

I love this Toy set i ended up buying them both for my son for Christmas for 2021 ! My son is turning 4 at the end of this year ☺ I wouldn't recommend this toy for children under 3 or 2 since it has small parts . My son will love these wooden toy sets 😃 I noticed the packaging has changed i was hoping The balence barn set would have come in a box set or the balence boat set to come in the plastic packaging so it matches lol either way amazing toy sets and such a great purchase ☺

I bought this for our middle child, he's 3 years old and loves both towers and pirates. He LOVES it. This is an excellent game for hand-eye coordination and precision. It is also amazing quality - the entire thing is wood, pictures are all painted, no stickers, and the pieces were all individually wrapped in tissue paper inside the plastic packaging bags. The storage box it arrives in is great too. I highly recommend this for as early as 3 years old, and due to the extremely good quality this would also make an excellent gift.

I purchased this for my 2.5 year old, who is in a knocking things down kind of phase. He builds things in an effort to later them knock them down. I thought this toy might teach him the reverse since it requires that you stack things up and you are trying to NOT knock them down. We gave it a try this morning and so far, so good! He understood that the point was to build it and PREVENT it from falling, but it only lasted so long. Once it fell on accident he proceeded to do things to make the animals fall after putting a couple on, but it was only our first try and it's a total work in progress. I think this WILL work to teach him some patience.Patience aside, I like that it requires that the child determine the best way to stack the animals so they don't fall on the uneven teeter totter surface of the barn. The animals are different sizes (because a cow is in reality bigger than chicken) so there's some understanding required about sizes as well. I'm also using this to teach my son the names of animals and that's an added bonus. The toy is completely painted with no bare wooden areas making it bright, colorful and appealing. The pieces are smooth and well made. It could maybe stand to be slightly larger, but it's also great the way it is. No paint chips so far despite them hitting our hardwood floors a few times today. A great value for the price. I saw another similar one with a pirate theme that I plan on buying later on if he ends up really loving this one.

we love this balancing game. especially the “waves” pieces that helps hold the ark steady while my little one (2 years old) stacks the pieces. this helps her be able to stack the pieces until she is old enough to play with it as a balancing game. we read the story of Noah and the ark and then we play with it. my husband and I tried it out without the “waves” and it’s not too hard to stack pieces. the game is steady and it does require thinking and concentration to lee it from falling over. when I placed a piece and it fell over, the clatter noise startled us (we were all concentrating watching each other place pieces) and we all laughed. it was really fun to play together. definitely happy with this purchase!!!

I let my son pick this from a list of toys I thought his sister would like so he could give her something for Christmas. I wasn't sure how much they would enjoy it, but it had animals and a barn, so he was naturally drawn to it. When she opened it up it was an instant hit. The pieces are a good weight and have a nice finish. Both my kids love stacking the animals together, but my daughter insists that the sheep and cat have to go on first. I love that is hard to get all the animals on without them falling, but it's easy to get the first few on. It makes it fun to play, with enough turns before it falls, but you're not bored because you'll hardly ever get them all on there. It's hard to do even as an adult. I'm really glad we got this, it's certainly going to be a favorite for a long time.

Cute item, well made . 4 stars only because it hasnt caught the attention of the kids. They tried it once and haven't gone back to it. Will put it away and bring it out when we do a pirate theme in our daycare

I’m a mother of twins. They are too young but I had to buy this Just in case it was discontinued or gone when the time was right. Great quality and wonderful details. It’s smaller than expected but beautiful and perfect for learning animals and making a game out of balance. I highly recommend. We opened and played with at 15 months, but put them back in the box for a few months. I’ll test again in a few months, but it will probably get more real action at the recommend 3 plus in age. They loved seeing the different animals and making their sounds.

Nice toy. Seems well-made. The pieces are a good weight and are nicely painted. They are a good size for small hands.I bought this as a challenge toy for my 3.5 year old with ASD who loves to stack things. He hasn't taken much interest in it yet, but we just got it today. I tried it out myself and it was actually somewhat difficult, so at least I know it will take some effort for him and hopefully keep him occupied when I need him to settle down. The one thing I think could be changed is the texture of the pieces. They are very, very smooth which makes them slide out from under each other very easily. It wouldn't be a big deal if this game were intended for older children or adults because it makes it more challenging, but it's made for preschoolers. I can imagine some kids could get frustrated or discouraged. It would be nice if it came with a little drawstring bag or case to keep all of the pieces in, but the cardboard box it came in will hold up until I find something better.
