I've gone White, Black, Blue, Browns, Deep Red, and various mixes. I am very pleased with the natural Golden color of the Aztec Bronze.

I rinsed this substrate in a colander, until the water ran clear. This took about an hour. I then, placed it in my 55 gallon tank. 60 lbs of this substrate. Filled the tank. The water instantly became cloudy. I started my filtration system, which is two 75 gallon Fluvals. Ran them for a week. Still completely opaque. Added water clarifier. Let it rest for 48 hours, before I turned the filters back on. After another 48 hours, I have drained the tank. This is ridiculous.

Replaced the gravel in 30-gallon freshwater aquarium with Imagitarium Aztec Bronze. Before doing so, soaked and rinsed the gravel, but it contained hardly any dust. Color is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Put this in a tank meant for plants plants took off with nothing else, but this gravel extra bonus. I did not have to rinse and the tank did not cloud up best substrate ever wish I’d found it sooner.
