I used this wall plate to connect my two speakers, and it works great! The installation was straightforward, and it gave my home theater a much cleaner look. I used these 2 coupler style connectors as a quick connect for my exterior speakers and they have worked really well so far!I have two exterior speakers with speaker wire coming inside through small holes. I setup shallow single gang boxes near their respective holes. I did this so it would be easy to reconnect a new wire if the old wire started to oxidize outside without having to rerun the entire speaker wiring from the amplifier's location. I used the bare wire connection method and have had zero issues; I do like the fact that it has connections for banana plugs as that could be useful depending on how your receiver is setup.Pros:-Price-Solid ConnectorsCons:-NoneOverall: I would recommend these if you are looking to add some speaker connectors and don't want to spend way too much for some of the selections in the big box stores.

These connectors worked great for running speaker wire through the wall. Using a double gang box, I added a pass through for the hdmi and optical cable. For the price, I bought the 5 pack. It was much more cost effective vs box store prices

In fact, it doesn't help at all!I thought at first that I could tight cable in the back of the plate and just plug cable coming out from speakers to the plate. That way, it would do clean job.... but!First: you have to use banana to plug cable to back plate, and other banana to plug speaker to plate! So you have banana on both side, which:1. take some room2. is expensive (banana plug are not very cheap!)3. makes the plate useless!More than that, i bought good reviewed/rated banana plug on amazon. They cannot even fully enter in the plate!! What the heck!!So I have plate that costs me money, had to buy 2 set of plug as expected and plug are half plugged cause it's too short hole.Is it necessary to add it's cheap material?

表題のごとく、一度にバナナプラグ（４ｍｍ）を刺すと長さが足りません。どちらか一方をコードを差しネジ止めになります。バナナプラグメス４個と台座付きからお値打ちと思われますが、ホームセンターで露出スイッチボックスを探しましたが11.5×7.0ｃｍに合うものはありませんでしたので木製の手作りで取り付けました。埋め込みなら寸法を決め穴を開ければきれいに取付できると思います。

Arrived quick in fine condition. Also packed in very reusable zip lock bags! If you are skeptical about these banana plug jacks based on the very reasonable price, let me put your mind at ease. These are good sturdy wall mount banana plug jacks that stand toe to toe with the Levitons and other brands I have installed. They are mounted in equally sturdy, precisely molded, decora compatible plates and trims. Look right at home in high end installations! I'm Very satisfied with these!

Pros:1) - Shipped quickly and packaged well.2) - Snug fit with the surround/terminal plate. (See cons)3) - Terminals are very solid, mounted well, no issues there.4) - Great fit in a single gang box, hardware included.Cons:1) - Snug fit with the surround/terminal plate. It took me an extra 5 minutes to work the terminal plate into the surround once on the wall but not worth losing a star. Although choice words were said, I am now happy with the fit.

Great binding posts. Well put together. Better quality than I expected. My only caveat is that they will not fit in a surface mount shallow electrical box without a gap between trim plate and the wall. Make sure you have low voltage or single gang electrical boxes that sit flush with your wall surface.
