The IMPCO FL-205-1 Generic Electric valve lock is a 12 volts direct current (V DC) electric solenoid shut off valve that includes a two-way male connector. It is suitable for use with liquid propane gas (LPG) or low pressure compressed natural gas (CNG) motors.

This solenoid valve is made for a propane-powered forklift or something but I installed it in my boat and so far it has performed flawlessly. Easy to install; just make sure you put the arrow in the right direction. West Marine wanted $180 for this thing but I got it for $37 from Amazon. All of which should tell you that greed is out of control at West Marine.

The part I received was not the same as in the photo. I needed the one in the photo so that I had the same Magnet as shown, the one in the box was NOT what I needed Not a happy Camper right now.

Perfect replacement for another brand that cost more than twice this one. Just redo the electrical connector and I was up and running.

So far this valve has worked perfectly. I have only used it for a few weeks now, but it has never failed to actuate.
