This eagle is well made and holds up well to drenching rain storms and brutal sun. We bought it to hang in the dogwood tree that overhangs our truck. Before we got it, the birds were roosting and doing their business all over the truck. Since we hung it, the birds stay away. What a relief! It is beautiful also.

While the spinner itself is a little short, that doesn't matter. The bird is pretty large and easily visible anywhere in the yard. The wings catch any breeze so there is constant motion, even if the spinner isn't doing all that much.The body is made of plastic so it should last. ( I take them down for major/tropical storms) .I was put off by the price at first, but now i also have the butterfly and dragon.

While I would give this product 5 Stars for appearance, I had to reduce the overall rating due to the difficulty in having to re-tie the 3 strings by the neck of the bird. They were unevenly tied, not allowing the wings to open all of the way, thus it wouldn't hang and twist properly. I thought this might have been an anomaly, but when we subsequently ordered a Monarch Butterfly twister, the same thing occurred, but to an even greater degree of difficulty in re-tying the three strings -- unevenly tied and horribly twisted!!! Quality control on the manufacturing end needs to be improved with these products!

The Hummingbird Twister is very pretty to look at however the strings on the wings and body get twisted and so it doesn't fly properly. The Twister needs to be on a long arm from the pole or the tail gets twisted around the pole.

Great item! Very colorful and my mom, who is a hummingbird lover, adores it. It is a little pricey for the size but it was a birthday gift. Please check the measurements before ordering...this is not a large item.

We sent this twister back, it was made of cheap material & the eagle was at a weird angle (not as pictured) & did not hang correctly.
