They must have changed supplier of their fiberglass products The last three items we've bought from them the triple wheel the double and the 14-in wheels have all had issues with pedals the fiberglass breaking and literally coming apart and destroying the rest of the wheel their quality is definitely went downhill

Good looking, great for 4th of July & works well. Fiddly to assemble & instructions could be clearer but after getting one for daughter I was impressed by the quality & operation & bought another. The 3/16” diameter fiberglass rod that goes into the pocket of the long side of sail needed cutting. I cut 1/4” off length to fit properly. As far as gluing on end cap; I found it unnecessary because they’ve added a painted steel self-locking washer to put on before end cap. It’s undocumented but works well. It’s a bear to press on unless you use a piece metal tubing slightly smaller than outside diameter or enlarge center hole with a punch or nail.

In the end, this wind vane looks and works as expected, multicolored circles spinning in opposite directions into the direction of the wind. Very dynamic on a breezy day. The instructions are minimal, no illustrations, leaving you to guess which parts are which. There's no excuse for not having the parts named and illustrated, and then showing how to put the parts together properly using words, steps and illustrations. The impression I get having put it together and seeing it work in the garden is that it is not that sturdy or built to last. If winds are over 20 mph, I think I will try to remember to bring it indoors, which is easy enough.

2024 UPDATE: Still LOVE this Garden Spinner! Since my first review, the spinner has endured some strong winds when we weren't home in time to bring it inside. It's not torn or worn out, but the fabric is a little faded, as would be expected. We had a minor problem with the pole just recently and the company has FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! A friendly representative responded quickly and solved the problem. If you need help that you can't find on Amazon, go to the company's website and contact them.2021 review:I can't stop watching this Triple Wheel Rainbow spinner, especially when the sun shines through it - WOW! You can sit back, focus on it and unwind. We live in a windy part of the SE coast and wind direction often affects my activities, so I wanted something decorative, yet functional. The flag adds stability and points down-wind, while the wheels turn into the breezes. I copied a couple of reviewers' photos, which were very helpful in addition to the instructions. Don't throw away the bag - the label has your instructions. It's easier if you have someone to help out, because the horizontal rod that holds the flag's top (red stripe) requires a little maneuvering, slight pressure and patience to snap it into place. Take your time and follow the company's steps in order. We did add a drop of super-glue to the end cap of the 3-wheel rod. It hasn't been put to the test regarding rough weather. I hope to bring the spinner indoors whenever possible when we have gusty winds and storms. Very happy with this lovely and useful wind spinner!

Not only do I love this spinner, several of my neighbors love it so much they are getting one, too! It’s not easy to assemble - the little things that go between each of the wheels are pretty much impossible to get onto the stick - and I wish I would have seen the hint about putting lithium grease on it before assembly so it doesn’t squeak - but, this thing has already gone through some really high winds and still looks new! It’s tons of fun to not only watch the wheels spin, but watch it move all around in the wind, too (hey, with the pandemic, ya gotta find fun where ya can!) Great purchase! Will get another one when this one finally gets too old!!!

I like that this actually spins and rotates freely- it is eye catching. It is well made, although be careful when putting in the plastic stake. We have too many stones in our grass area and I broke the tip off right away. It is only about 3 feet tall after you stake it in the ground. We bought a large potted plant and put the stake in the pot to lift it higher. The only thing I would change about this flag is to make it about a foot or two taller. I think if it were made any taller it would need a sturdier pole though. The pole is fine for the size it is now. It is as advertised.

It is even nicer than pictured. I bought it as a gift and person receiving Garden spinner was overjoyed. It will make a colorful ornament in her garden and is large enough to fill in that empty space.

The triple rainbow spinner was bought for our new grand-child. It has been fitted in the garden so that when she looks through the window she has a different experience nearly every time, as the colours on each of the 3 spinners vary with the wind strength. The middle spinner rotates in the opposite direction to the other 2.We chose this spinner as it is similar to one we bought for our first grand-child about 5 years ago!! It has been outside in their garden over this time and is still working - although the colours have faded. It may appear expensive but to get 5 years use is a tribute to its robust construction.
